Very much recommend this if you enjoy writing:

Current competition is closing today, but the next one is pretty soon in November. Only £10 to enter and a chunk of that supports wildlife conservation, so it's a solid cause.

It's a pun on the Blue-Footed Booby, and the fact that a consolation prize is commonly known as a booby prize :teach:
Hello, not a good conversation starter but uh...
Anyone like Mega Man?
no more ED ads, this place is almost unrecognizable now
Got myself a joystick. Absolutely loved this color, works with phones, PC and switch and there was an option to come with this phone clip. Loving it.

> Receive a Odin 3 yesterday
> Open it up to replace the face buttons
> Due to a loud noise, break the latch of the daughterboard
> Controls (except dpad) no longer work

In the years, I've opened up devices up, first time something like this happened.

I miss having Fedora, and I remember that Hyper-V exists. So I wanted to test it on my MSI Pulse Gl66 and it definitely runs. Better than having to Dualboot (for now)
I'm officially letting go of Windows on my HP EliteBook 840 G1, and putting Linux Mint XFCE on there. Depending on whether or not I feel like it, i might replace it with the normal variant since it's been upgraded to a SATA SSD and 16GB or DDR3, but for now, it can't even handle Windows 10 IoT LTSC.

It's unfortunate that I've had to come to this conclusion, but at least I'm doing it at the comfort of my second most favorite Linux distro of all time. I always wished to have a stable PC that can run Linux on, but my gaming laptop has a NVIDIA GPU, and my college laptop is for college purposes until I get a Framework or another adjacent laptop. Thing is, if Framework is too much of an expense for me personally, I don't know what alternative I could get for my MSI PULSE GL66 12UKV.

Any PC that handles Vista/7 should also run 10.
In the past I've had bad experiences with HP laptops not properly detecting their power supply (wattage). Then they silently default to an extreme(!) slow mode and only work normally on battery power.

If the power connector has a needle like pin in the middle it is one of those supposed to tell the computer their wattage. I've the same 🤬 on my Dell, but at least it gives an warning message on boot when this power negotiation fails.

I've started writing my screenplay over Sadiq Khan's wrongful conviction over that car thing. I'm expecting channel 4 to air my dramatisation in 2029.
mmmm the temptation to do a big sell to try to afford an AI Max+ 395 handheld. The AYENEO Next 2 and GPD Win 5 both look so good.
