I had to mention my 3DS in that last post lol. Mine decided it just wanted to die while I was playing it. No clue what happened, but the thing turned off while playing it, and refused to do any power. Plugged into charger, charging light came on, but no power. Took the motherboard out and swapped in one from my brother's system and it powered right on. Guess it's time to start hoarding 3DS components. I have a 2DS XL that is in stock working order, but I've always preferred the battery life my New 3DS XLs got.
I had this itch probably 2 or 3 months ago... and decided to work on it past week: Integrate a "Mobile" recording option to Papalotl to use any Android Phone connected via USB to PC as Webcam and record phone screen without resorting to dubious/laggy/shady apk.

If you own:
- Papalotl.exe
- Android Phone (literally any android phone)

You already got:
- Papalotl.exe: Portable and Lightweight Screen Recorder for Windows AND Android
- Android Phone: A Webcam

I've spent my Labor Day weekend taking this messy Tower of Power™ and designing a case for it all to look like a mini media center PC/game console type thing. The wires at the top will be for the MiSTer's LED buttons, when they get here.

I'm just glad they're still cheap, especially with CD players getting popular again.

Still cheap for now, thankfully. I really like your MISTer FPGA with the optical drive, must support every game and works compared to that lackluster SuperStation that tech YouTubers are talking about.

I have a SSone myself, I can't attest to any major issues. It's just a MiSTer with a flimsy shell (buttons are flimsy) and no custom SNAC ports without the dock. Very happy with it, minus the SNAC problem

I'm very excited for tomorrow's Direct!
Hope Nintendo is not like: "The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time Remaster... with Farming sim and 1st person mode!"
"And look! Your weapons breaks! 🫨🫨🫨"
"Cure Ganon with the power of friendship!"
"Play as Link with pink hair! 🫨🫨🫨"

Well... That didn't last long. I guess I can't just really adapt to Linux after all...

I feel like Switch was devoid of music due to how quick it was to load into each of the applets, making it so you would likely spend less time in them.

Sure, that leaves no excuse for things like Mii Maker/eShop/Album that would do very well with music, considering you're definitely meant to take your time there, but a lot of the time, I'd imagine applets would be some 5 seconds of music abruptly stopped by some totally different music.

Still, I would love to experience an alternate universe where Switch (2) had Internet Settings music.

The Catboy
It had soul, something Nintendo lost in 2015
