I call BS.

Alot of people without prior programming background cannot just magically complete a project, or emulate a high quality game like "Legend of Zelda". The limitations are just mind boggling. Music, graphics, sounds, bug testing - a lot of this I doubt has extensively worked on.

Besides all that, it's not that hard to show us screen shots of your real completed progress, as you claim so. You've already lied about the release date too (20th of November previously, now 20th* of December.)

Taking account of all factors, I bet someone 100 internet dollars that it is BS.
Quote myself for truth.

Well well well.

So. I'm back. I waited even a few more days, just in case you had a down time or some other BS excuse.

No game, no dice. For a thirteen year old, i wouldn't expect such pathetic excuses, (i've seen better) but man. Perhaps you weren't loved as a child? Or were neglected since birth? Why do you waste other kids time on here with your failed promises?

TLDR; DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! YOU GUYS WILL NEVER PLAY A COMPLETED VERSION OF THIS GAME!

To the 4 people who made the bet with me, you guys are pathetic. I want my 400 internet dollars now or else i'll call my internet mafia to kick your internet asses.

*Also I guess I was off the date... But you still changed it.

To the creator of this "game": Listen (or read): If you want to learn how to make a real top notch game, I'm willing to offer to personally teach you a REAL (not GML or some shitty equivalent) programming language, so you can at least learn how to make a game with REAL engines people have REALLY created. If you're serious about making a game that is. Let me know through PM or respond to this post.

Hay screw him ^^ teach me !!! lol

Hahah I'd take up that offer too. Can I photoshop a few screenshots of a new game and get flamed badly so you offer me the same? :3

its not off topic, this is about games. hes talking about knowing how to program them (still on the topic of games,) i asked if he could teach me more as a joke. (still about games)

Quit complaining, your getting more publicity with out having to bump your own thread be happy man,

No proof it's bs lol! You are failing in my mind (and many others). Ok look we bet that there never would be a game not about the date it would come out so my internet mafia would exterminate yours.

Guys... is it REALLY worth arguing about THIS much? It's just a homebrew game made by one guy in a few weeks... it's hardly Duke Nukem Forever...

That is exactly what I have been trying to tell everyone. I didn't mean to have this game to big. 15,000 views? 24 pages?
Bets about BS? Off topic? Sheesh now I'm actually afraid to release it incase everyone goes against it!

You didn't expect a Zelda game to be popular?

LOZ: TSOL looks brilliant but I think I've broken that popularity barrier. No, I didn't expect such a crown.

I never said I wasn't releasing it. I am getting really annoyed by the same people asking that quiestion again and again. I can only just presume that your very simple.

This is what happens when someone announces a project too early with high expectations and without the skills to match them. When working on a project, it is better to go unknown until there is something worth showing rather then making false claims with nothing to back it up. New to coding people get excited over their little achievements and jump the gun on announcing projects. In the end they always turn out like this as we have seen before in many other situations.

(Off topic) could anyone perhaps link me to some good resorces on learning to program games through C++ or something?

(ontopic)

Its always hard to contains one excitement, my advise would be stop working on the game for now, demo the first part of the game, release that as a sneek peak, get feedback from the demo and carry on with it keeping the feedback in mind ^^

Meh, I don't really care anymore. It seems like any hype behind this game is gone for most people. It's just been delayed so much that most of the discussion here is just debating on its existance. The smart move would be to release it right now, even if it isn't perfect, say you're cancelling the project, or just admit that it was a fraud, depending on whoever is right.

I was an initial supporter of the game, if you read my posts earlier in the thread, but now I don't care. When it's constantly delayed, despite the fact it was finished from the very first post, just makes it seem either fake or just a big, constant tease. After you said it wouldn't be released November 20th and when you just said it could be delayed three months, I lost any real enthusiasm here.

I suggest this thread be locked until a meaningful update on the game comes. It means that if it was fake all along, the whole thread will cease to exist. If not, it'll stop all this bickering.
