I would recommend using the Shovel Knight amiibo. It gives u 1000 rupees, shovel sword & lets u ride plague knight liek a horse! Amazing! Actually, no, it does absolutely fuck all. He's a knight, Nintendo! FFS! Open goal etcs... =(

You can scan it more than once? O.o
Sorry for the dumb question, I know little about amiibos xD

Only one time a day.
Seems that changing console date in settings (-1 day scan amiibo +1 day scan amiibo -1 day scan...) lets you bypass the limit but you have to close and reload the game every time.
For now i use it once a day.

Aesthetically, I'd go for the Archer or Horseman.

I didn't know this. Small chances, eh? :'(
After 6 scans online got the head gear currently :l and 2? Eponas
But found out the majors mask amiibo (not released yet, only spoofed) also gives a armor. But not a tunic.

I found a list of what amiibos can drop: http://pastebin.com/CtRd9Ajk (from reddit, i think?)
I would recommend Link SSB for horse and gears, and maybe the Guardian.

Interestingly, you can't scan unique weapons, they are not part of the encyclopedia, that means you can only obtain them from those amiibos.

Just found out he's doing alright, doing a lot of complaining too, rightfully so. Who wouldn't complain after having a seizure and being hospitalized?
