I would recommend using the Shovel Knight amiibo. It gives u 1000 rupees, shovel sword & lets u ride plague knight liek a horse! Amazing! Actually, no, it does absolutely fuck all. He's a knight, Nintendo! FFS! Open goal etcs... =(

You should be able to get him on subsequent scans, but the chance is low.

You can register Epona. And you can get her more than one time.

If you bring a horse to a stable you can register it so whenever you are near a stable they will fetch him for you. You can register 5 horses and choose whichever you want, the other 4 will then be in the stable.

Got the pants of the set on first scan.
Then just random stuff from other 3 scans, seems quite small the chance, yes. :/

Only one time a day.
Seems that changing console date in settings (-1 day scan amiibo +1 day scan amiibo -1 day scan...) lets you bypass the limit but you have to close and reload the game every time.
For now i use it once a day.

After 6 scans online got the head gear currently :l and 2? Eponas
But found out the majors mask amiibo (not released yet, only spoofed) also gives a armor. But not a tunic.

Interestingly, you can't scan unique weapons, they are not part of the encyclopedia, that means you can only obtain them from those amiibos.
