Hi guys!

As the title says, what are the best games to get for 2-5 players to play locally on the WiiU?

Thanks!

Wii U:

Badland (4 players)
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse (relatively easy 5 player coop)
Rayman Legends (4 players)
Super Mario 3D World (4 players)
Wii Sports Club (4 players)

Wii or older systems:

Bomberman (Blast, Generation, 64) (4 players)
Kirby's Adventure Wii (coop. Relatively easy 4 player)
Mario Strikers Charged/Super Mario Strikers (Football Mario. Even if I don't like the sport that game is awesome. 4 players)
Rayman Origins (2d platformer coop 4 players)

I ll ask again, just to be sure: do original Wii games require Wii Remotes to be played (no gamepad nor pro controller can be used)?

Wii U:
Fast Racing Neo (4 players)
Mario Kart 8 (4 players)
New Super Mario Bros. U (4-5 players)

Wii:
Wii Sports (4 player)

GameCube (via hacked vWill & Nintendont):
Mario Kart Double Dash (4 players)
Smash Bros Melee (4 players)
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (2 players)
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 (2 players)

Hi! How Rayman Legend differ from New Super Mario or 3D World?

Thanks
Rayman Legends is a 2D platformer with a slightly faster pace than New Super Mario Bros. U(NSMB) Wii. They're both 4 player. NSMB is about precise jumping and Rayman is more about reflexes and reaction. Not sure which one I would recommend over the other, but Rayman is probably better if you are not the best at 2D platformers. As a side note, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is similar to these two but known to be very difficult. I haven't finished it yet.

Super Mario 3D World is a 3D platformer (like Super Mario Odyssey, just not a collectathon like Spyro, Banjo etc.). It is also 4 players. The levels are fairly short but they have collectibles hidden within them. Lots of hidden stars in each level. It can definetly be tricky at times and might not be the best 3d platformer to play if you've never played one before. It's better if you play it with someone who is about as good as you at them, especially if you play in 3 or 4. I finished it 100% with 3 players.
