Playing versus mode on New Super Mario Bros with Costello day after day after day.

Good times and I miss not being able to play it anymore.

Probably those nights where i've sat playing it in bed until morning, then finally falling asleep at about 7am. lol.
That was me playing Monster Tale this morning, except I stayed up until 6AM instead of 7AM.

Taking a gamble and importing Ouendan from Lik-Sang. A game that I literally only seen on Youtube once and thought, "hey, I'll give that a try". Never actually liked my DS when I first bought it but the moment the M3 CF version arrived and I put on Phoenix Wright, that was several evening well spent.

Oh gosh.

Super Mario 64 DS
Came with my ds. I played the s out of that game. Beat it like 4 times with all the stars.
Specrobes
Good because i wanted it to be. It was fun but just too many bugs. But i beat it.
Rune Factory
Spent alot of hours on this one. There were tons of bugs but it was a good time waster. Farming and fighting was alot of fun, especially when i got to forge my own weapons.
Front Mission
Show stopper for me. It was a sleeper hit. I bought it after i saw the 2 page spread in Nintendo Power and thought it looked awesome. I was right.

DQMJ
Bought this one cause i have been a long time fan of DWM and played the s out of the GBC version. This one wasnt as good, however, the 3D cell shaded graphics are among the best on the DS.
FFTA2
I waited soooo long for that game and had such a high expectation for it to come riding in off the steam of FFTA. Biggest let down of my DS library.
Pokemon Soul Silver
Another one that i get super excited for, and this one lived up to its hype. Man did it deliver. Its one of those games that i played for 80 some hours (and im not done)

...And thats just a few

The DS is on it's death bed? That's news to me. I would say it's going to go strong for awhile yet. There is always that negative outlook when the next gen comes out that upon the first sale of the new system, the old system is going to fall into an abyss. There are many reasons I've explained before as to why the DS won't die so soon, not gonna explain them again.

Come back with this thread in a couple of years.

I still remember that time, I enjoyed playing Call of Duty Black Ops, Call of Duty, and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. I enjoyed it the most.

But I still remember playing Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. *sigh* I missed those special memories with my DS.

Pokemon HeartGold. The only DS game I have ever bought, I loved it. Seeing my cute Pokemon following me around, playing the Pokeathlon, experiencing the best Pokemon all over again (used to own Silver version) etc. :3

no ones said suikodien tierkreiss i found out much better then FFIII and i never really finished FFIV! suikodien tierkreiss has 108 useable characters and is just awesome! didn't finish chrono trigger (i thought the plot was a little childish) but radiant historia was pretty good! I reckon metroid prime hunters is one of the finest shooters on the DS with its smooth controls and good multiplayer!

Hmm... I'd have to say when I first got my copy of Pokemon Diamond. I didn't even know about piracy back then, so this set me on a BUZZ.

I was so excited to first play it. I think I clocked around 150 hours in the game?

Once the next generation has started, the previous generation is dead. That doesn't mean it's over, just that it's dead.

Probably my most memorable moment with the system was when I saw it for the very first time on display in Walmart. Nintendogs was demoed, and I was just so impressed by both the tech and the idea of a game that wasn't a traditional game but an interactive, social experience on a handheld. It had been a long time since I had played a handheld gaming system, and I was just bowled over by the direction Nintendo was obviously going in with respect to gaming. The entire interface just seemed brilliant. I still think it's amazing, and I hate to see it go. With 3D being the big thing in 3DS, we likely won't see many games where the gameplay is controlled directly on the bottom screen, since developers will surely feel a need to exploit the visual aspect of the system. That direct control of the stylus, for me, is such a huge part of what makes DS special.

Probably when I first started playing Puzzle Quest: CotW. I was in my dad's apartment and everyone else was gone (my brother had work, my dad had volleyball). It was kinda hot and I just sat on the couch and started playing it. Something like 10 hours later I was all sweaty, hungry, and I had to pee like a racehorse. So fun.

I remember the day when I first got my R4 in the mail. I was so excited to get home and play tons of games. That whole week all I did was play my DS. So fun.

Ah first memories of my ds.... is when I dropped it!

Landed in my bed of course. My heart dropped as fast as it bounced back to realise it was still safe and sound >.

pokemon pearl
at one moment someone bought it for me, the next moment i clocked 500 something hours on it

When I first played SM64 DS I played around 100 hours on that trying to get everything.

My fondest memories of my ds are playing mario kart ds against my friends, and playing pokémon diamond. I always managed to win with mkds, so they got pissed off and all three ganged up on me xD. And I liked pokémon diamond because it was a pokémon game that did everything right in my opinion since gen III.
