Have you ever enjoyed a video game so much when you were younger! Have you ever tried to or have already replayed that same game and think to yourself "I was a lot better when I was younger"Well I just finished beating one of my favorite game of all time The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and I just realized I sucked so bad even though I'm so good at games. Never have I felt so ashamed to play the game I love and beat it without getting every heart piece, Golden Skulltula, and even skipping the trial to get the Ice Arrow. What I think is because I already know the game it's already explored in the back of my mind. Since I know what to do I just breeze through the game forgetting that the game is a whole world to explore experiencing more deaths, forgetting the musical melodies, and trying to rush the game. This also isn't the first time I experienced this, in many other games where I successfully completed a certain part so perfect I seem to have to go through a struggle. What my question is, Have you ever played a game at a younger age and seem to play it better than your older self now or Is it the opposite way for you with every game.
