I still think it's a system with great potential. I still have my Wii, and since Mario Kart's online is seriously awesome, I get a good bit of use out of it. But I long for relevant games on the system. As great as MKW is, it's not really Wii-centric, nor was Galaxy or Brawl. And even though games like The Conduit, Tenchu 4 and MadWorld are games I look forward to, none of them promise gameplay that really snaps in terms of motion control. After playing MoHH2 on Wii, I'm not sold on Wii controls being far superior to traditional console controls. Speaking strictly from a control standpoint, I had more fun with the original Halo using my huge Xbox controller than I did with MoHH2.
No matter, there's still a lot on Wii to make it a system worth keeping, not least of all the WiiWare platform, which is actually doing more to satisfy me as a Wii owner than most retail games. LostWinds was wonderful, World of Goo is great, and I'm very much looking forward to LIT and other titles.
As an aside, the 360's insane failure rate has also aided in keeping me from selling my Wii to buy an Xbox. I'm not ready to deal with those kinds of hassles.
