Gaming You still got your Wii?

Since I keep on hearing people not liking the Wii anymore for several reasons (can't play it anymore/no more good games/stupid Naked Bros game turning up and other shovelware/got blinded by the tech behind the Wiimote) and one topic convinced me that it is a fact, I decided to make this poll above.

Vote and discuss.

As for me, I recently made a topic about selling my Wii for a 360 but I cancelled it because 1)My family loves it and 2) Gamestation is a con because they will only buy my Wii for half the retail price (£80) but I'm getting a 360 this Xmas.

I got my Wii shortly after launch and I still like it.
But if it hadn't been for modchips (the backup launcher didn't exist yet), I would have sold it a long time ago

I have a modded Wii, still have the occasional gaming session with it.

Looking forward to Q4 games and next year's games however.

Bought mine on last Christmas. Still playing it on a weekly basis, de Blob, Wario Land and all the stuff on WiiWare are keeping it very busy.

Though I can understand people that got it on the launch day complaining about the lack of games, 2008 was a pretty poor year for the system, most stuff I play on it are from 2007. Not to mention that I played a lot of remakes and GC games on it (I have no consoles from last gen). But 2009 is looking very good, I think right now would be the best time to get a Wii.

Well, I still have my Wii and I'm enjoying it from time to time but yesterday I played Tetris Party for the first time and it kinda made me realise how much we are getting screwed over.

It was so sad to see the horrible art style and the terrible graphics. Of course this is just Tetris, so how good can the graphics be right? But somehow they managed to make it look like an 8-16 bit version.

Hudson should be banned from making games.

I don't see what peoples problems are with it, in the last few months its had just as much quality as well as crap as the DS has had.

Every since I got another Wii in July, I've never spent at least a week without playing it. There are a lot of good quality games and there always seems to be a WiiWare game released every week that is worth playing.

I sold my wii 2 weeks ago. Best console decision I made imo. And got a 360!! Halo 3 is brill and Assassin's Creed is great too. So yeh 360 > Wii.

I almost did but ended up keeping it. The thing about the Wii is that it's the equivalent to a console PSP. There aren't enough games to warrant just a purchase of it, but when it's homebrew enabled it becomes one of the best systems you can have. The Wii is just full of too many gimmick games that are mostly crap. And the occasional gem, no one really wants to pay the money to take a risk (de Blob, Boom Blox.) I sure as hell wouldn't.

Of course I still have my Wii. And every other system I've bought, received, or whatnot. Games too. And I'm even looking to purchase a 360 in the near future. Yes, I'm capable of owning two consoles at once and being able to play them too. I'm talented. :3

I suppose it helps the Wii since I actually purchase the games for it. Yes, I know, what a foreign concept!

I just got my 2nd Wii and got rid of my 3rd or 4th 360(can't remember).

I'll definitely be holding onto this one. Date on it is 2006 so I'm assuming if I really wanted to I could Wii-clip mod it. But for now I've got it THed and it's doing me well....once the update gets released that allows VC and WiiWare games to be played from an SD card, I'll be set...

Or if I could get the damn SNES/Genesis emulators to work I'd be ok to
