once i figure out why this doesnt work for some people i will release the source.

for the people that it is freezing for, can you also try starting the app and removing the SD card before continuing? it seems thatonce i have skipped the first SD card shit, you can make it past that part to the screen where you select how to install this. then there is another reference to the SD card and that is where it is freezing for you.

When should the SD card be removed? Immediately after starting it, i.e. just after the HBC goes black, and before doing any kind of input?

just start the installer and once HBC has loaded it, take the SD card out and try tocontinue. see if that does anything different

or just use wiiload and dont have any sd card in the wii.

any chance of allowing merges of different ioses? i'd like to see a cios38+56 if that has any improvements over cios38+37

thanks happy holidays

ok. heres one that uses 249 and has no reference to the sd card at all. http://www.mediafire.com/?wz245aymwne also, if you feel like testing and figure out why this doesnt like your setup, you can find me on irc.abjects.net in #gui-usbloader-chat

I tried Wiiload with this latest one, with no SD card in, and it still froze after choosing an IOS base(Use IOS 38[recommended], etc.).

ok. well now that we finally got it installed, can you put it to the test. try to use it with wad installer and ADT mods and dop ios and shit and see that you can delete and install titles with it.

Worked like a charm.

Small suggestion: IOS10 v768 is a stub, perhaps that could be used as yet another installation slot? (IOS10 was never used outside of Nintendo.)

Seasons Greetings!

There's a number of stub IOSes these days, according to Wiibrew, but of course, not everyone will have those SysMenu IOSes stubbed:
IOS 3
IOS 4
IOS 10
IOS 11
IOS 16
IOS 20
IOS 30
IOS 40
IOS 50
IOS 51
IOS 52
IOS 60

And yes, I know most of those were used by System Menus. Just stating them for informational purposes.
