Hacking Yellows8 just semi-announced a 9.2+ Kernel Exploit

I wouldn't be surprised if he actually has something for 9.3+ but I also don't think that edit means anything. However the kernel exploits on 5.0+ were known of for a long time but never mentioned on 3dbrew until Gateway released their update so it wouldn't be the first time the elitists are intentionally holding back information so as to not give people any clues.

Any dev who finds something, I'm pretty sure, will always hold there trump cards

Well, if you look closely.
Ninjhax 2.0/ironhax/tubehax are all "userland" exploits, right?
If it is a USERLAND EXPLOIT, then how the hell could it load up games? It has some sort of nand access if it can do THAT! So, just some coding and add a reboot command with a loader and, BOOM! Possible CFW. Now, I made it look super easy, well, no it isn't at all.
From what I know, You need armx (don't know which loads games) to boot software.
This is suspicious.

The only way you could load a game is if it were completely recoded to run on ninjhax.

Yeahhh, Sky3DS is only so good. I have now relegated it to solely load CN. I bought a N3DS at 9.0 just to use CFW because my Sky got real annoying pressing that damn blue button waiting for it to change games. It takes a good 5-10 seconds to change.

True, but for an extra 100 (after shipping and such) you can get a N3DS for 200 on an exploitable FW. Something to think about. Also, in order to use it, you'll have to dump info from one of your carts so you'll need PowerSaves or a similar device if you want to play online. To be honest, it's a hassle even with all the tools in place. I only had a small number of my carts work online after dumping Mario Kart. Alternatively, I could just send you my dump since I'm no longer using it. I now use my Mario Kart CIA, so lemme know.

Edit: If I did send you the dumped cartridge, I'm not going to crush my cart afterwards. While I won't be using it online (a la the CIA works fine) I don't plan on wasting 40 dollars. Guess you'll have to take my word I won't play it online, and I won't sell it (maybe I'm a packrat but I like having the physical copy as well).

That would work as well for him. So there you go. Plenty of offers for free dumped headers.

Also, if you chose the N3DS route, as long as you follow username's guide, you'd be fine. I have CakesFW for kicks, but mainly just use Reinand. It's solid and I didn't fear bricking it even once. I am going to send it in however later to hundshamer for a hardmod, since I'm clueless as to soldering and too much of a puss to even try.
