A lot of people think that Mountain Dew kills your sperm count because of yellow 5 (food coloring). I don't know how old the rumor is, but I first heard this a few years back. I recently heard it mentioned again, which is what prompted this topic. Do you ever wonder how such a stupid rumor could spread? Food coloring killing sperm? That's just ridiculous, yet it seems a lot of people believed it.

Example: I tell two people they tell two people and suddenly it is somehow a fact.

One way to tell if a rumor is fake. If it causes harm to your body, they would not be allowed to sell the product without having warnings.

It's a stupid rumor and people who even consider it as being true, is just as stupid, if not more.

Eff that. The only reason that I'll accept is "it'll cause your penis to fall off". Anything other than that, is not acceptable, and I'll continue drinking it. I drink the soda, and I drink the energy drink from Moutain Dew too.
