No need, XLink will block all DNS lookups from the switch.

In other words, it'll stop you from connecting to the internet, so using 90DNS will be redundant when used in conjunction with Kai. You can keep 90DNS set though. The only two required components of your network config are the IP address and netmask, which can be set both automatically or manually.

Soooo is this what we have been waiting for or we need to wait more... ?

Meaning to have a way of just toggle aometsome in the Switch and get LAN PLAY immediately or still a lot of user input?

Compared to switch-lan-play, XLink supports. the auto detection of your ethernet adapter, DHCP (auto configuration of IP, netmask, and gateway). You can also do both manually if you'd prefer.

They're untested. We believe ldn_mitm should be compatible with the program.
So, Smash Ultimate doesn't work through this because it uses a different type of "lan". But, ldn_mitm supports it? Is it possible to use ldm_mitm P2P like XLink Kai?

From their post,

"Does XLink support local wireless games on a Switch running CFW with a local wireless to LAN mod enabled?"
While this hasn't been tested at the time of posting as no one on the team owns a modded Switch, we imagine these games should also be supported.

So try it out, and then report back to let us know!

I played few Mario Kart races, this is a better alternative to switch lan play.
Pros:
- we dont need a relay server (huge advantage).
- we can see status if someone already hosting a game.
- ultra noob friendly, i just installed xlink kai, and set switch ip/dns to automatic and it started to working.

Please give it a try. I hope KIP games working too.
and yeah this work fine on SX OS.
