Hello. My Phat LiteOn xbox 360 doesn't cooperate with me as it should.

The problem is when I boot the xbox 360 with xk3y installed and the SDcard plugged in the blud light doesn't light up, but when booting without the SDcard it does light up.

The red light on the xk3y is always lighting

When trying to press ''Open Tray'' the cycle doesn't work, it gets stuck on ''Close Tray''

Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Have you converted your drive FW dump to a stock firmware (instead of a PhatKey extract)?
Have you formatted your SD card? (this will wipe the linux partition, which you want to keep for the Xkey to operate)
Have you hooked it up correctly?

1: I'm not sure what you are referring to. I followed the Xkey Manual, is there another way of dumping the Stock Firmware? My drive is flashed with LT+3.0 for your information.
2: Yes, done this a lot of times, with the guide provided by The Artificer in the k3y forum. I had the 1 RROD problem once.
3: Yes, have re plugged it as well just in case something went wrong, everything is hooked as shown on the Manual. Even looked at the Video tutorial. I have also insulated the Xk3y.

Thanks for reply

You probably don't have the correct firmware dump, you'll need to convert your firmware dump to a stock firmware with Jungleflasher.
If you don't know how to do it or don't have a stock firmware dump then I could do it for you.

How could you do it? I would like to have it fixed ASAP :) I used the PMT to take out my key on the LiteOn drive, I got the Dummy.bin, put it in the above section, used the original as targeted saved it as firmware.bin. Is it because its a flashed Xbox 360?

You'll need to convert it to a stock 02510c FW
Then save it either as firmware.bin or dummy.bin
If both won't work then I'd return the Xkey (could be faulty)

May I ask you to explain how to do it? As far as I know I've tried doing this, or something similar.

Okay, I have a flashed LiteOn with LT+3.0.

Ill take my Dummy.bin which I extracted from the Driver as Source.
Then I take the stock firmware named orig-02510C-1c000.bin as Target.
Then I Spoof to Target and save the file as firmware.bin and put it in the root of the Micro SD card.

This didn't work, the blue light was of, didn't flash or was solid, and a red light was solid on the xk3y.
I have also gotten 3 RROD now, but that should be easier to fix.

What am I doing wrong? If it is possible, could we chat on Skype?

$60 for a game that's a decade old might be unheard of on PC but actually is not uncommon on consoles

especially Nintendo because they only ever lower the price of games when they do a greatest hits/platinum hits/players choice re-release

@The Real Jdbye, and the HD collections released for 7th gen consoles too
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but they don't seem to have done any of those for the switch yet and maybe never will

I think we all forgot breath of the wild released for the wii u tbh

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, tbh the HD collections are more justified since they include more than just 1 game per copy
