Here you go guys - this does not included keys - only a blank keys.txt file that you will need to fill in yourself to make the most out of the program.

Q: What's different about this from the original version by StudentBlake?

Answer below
===========

Main menu shows game update version (revision number)
Left click on game logo to save it as a png file.
Right click on screen to search websites for loaded game.

Built in:
RenXpack GUI - Repack your nsp game to work with a lower firmware revision. (activates when nsp game is loaded)
4nxci GUI - Convert your XCI games to NSP. (activates when xci game is loaded)

Base64 decoded/encoder - can be used to encode/decode text strings.
MD5 checker - check integrety of loaded games to check if it's been tampered with.

File splitter - activated when game is over 4GB, spilts your xci/nsp into smaller files (SXOS folders can be created automatically).

Keys menu - lets you sort/edit/write to your keys.txt file easily.

Rename Game - lets you rename your games easily with titleid + game revisions - good for all those renamed games you backed up with weird naming....

###More options planned for future releases### - stay tuned......

First post updated:

Bug fixes + some tools added. (fixed file splitting and correct folders for sxos nsp's).
Also correct key generation for key 0x0A is added. You can also drag an nsp or xci into the bottom box and it will load, as well as using the load tab.

Also layout is adjusted:

You will need to have a copy of prod.keys - rename that to keys.dat and put here: XCI-Explorer\tools\bin\keys.dat

If you don't have keys.dat in the proper folder you will get a password prompt - this will go away when you put that keys.dat into the proper folder, this file is needed for all the tools + options to work.

Tools added can pack to nsz, xcz - unpack, split, join etc...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Please can you add nsp/nsz repack to xci

Thanks

Yep - tools added to do that.

Looks nice, great job :)

Please provide source code.

I've got some database stuff to write - this will be a page for launching exe files + websites where you can add your own files and links, once I'm done with that stuff, I'll put it on github as a fork from StudentBlakes xci explorer.

Unlikely to be fulfilled request: the ability to rename with the format "NAME [BASE/UPD/DLC][v1.0.0][titleID][1234 MB]"

Great tool.
A feature to make custom .xci files with game, update and dlc would be awesome.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
