    so i got my xbox softmodded today and been thinking is there a way (like Webman on ps3) to stream xbox iso's or extracted games over a network?

    found my answer no and probably never a multitude of things are in play here the big one is the xbox warmboots every executible (.xbe) causing the memory to wipe as the new xbe is loaded (honestly idk how MS did it (play games) on a mere 64mb of ram so guess upgrading the drive is my only option or burn discs

    Upgrade the drive is the easiest way yeh.

    Xbox had 64 megs of ram, PS2 had 32 and the cube had 24 megs system and 16 megs as I/O buffer RAM.
    A mere 64 megs? it had the most memory of the generation.

    yeah which before i close this thread I know you need a lockable drive for a softmod i only see the list for ide (I tried a tsop but the solider didn't stick not going to try again) what about sata which ones ar lockable any list online?

    i nulled the eeprom and ftp'd and dl'd it to my pc so rather than using chimp I thought the xbox hdm route would be better
