Hardware XBOX 360 + Sky Go + XBMC

Good morning All,

I have a bit of an issue: My new TV only has HDMI ports so my old media pc is now useless..

Since the arrival of the next gen consoles I have noticed the price of the XBOX 360 plummet so what I am wondering is.

1.Does SkyGo still work on the xbox 360?
2.Are there any issues with a second hand 360 and xlive?
3.What should I be looking for in a 360; with hacking in mind.
4.Can you connect to xlive with a hacked 360?
5.Does XBMC work on 360?
5a. If so, does it render 1080p content without issue?

In my personal opinion, I would buy a cheap graphics card that has an HDMI output and install it into the media PC.

1. I dun use any media oriented applications on the 360 so I dunno (prolly also not available here)
2. Old phatties (older then 2008) tend to overheat and it is possible for the 360 to be already banned.
3. A Phatty made in 2010 or an old glossy Slim one, those are the best.
4. Nope, you cannot, you can connect to XBL with a hacked DVD drive but homebrew and Live don't coexist. (unless you're willing to spend another 60 quid on a Dual NAND and delve deeper into 360 hacking)
5. Nope, Old xbox only.

I'd go with Harsky, just get a new GFX card.
It'd be cheaper and easier.
Far easier.

Thanks for the advice...unfortunately the media center case is low form factor and I have struggled to find a suitable GFX card.

There should be a simple HDMI one out there.
Low profile low power ones usually.

Another option is to buy a DVI to HDMI or VGA to HDMI adapter.
