Hacking wuphaxBackup.app file kinda messed up

Hello there! So I was having a jolly ol time hacking vWii using the guide on wiiu.hacks.guide/vwii-modding. I thought everything was pretty good so far, until I tried to access the Mii Channel. I made sure I followed the guide to a T, and I even had a wuphaxBackup.app file. However, trying to access the Mii Channel hard crashes my Wii U, so I have to unplug the damn thing.
I'm not asking for a copy or replacement, I'm just wondering if anyone has a solution for what happened.
