wuphax "wii software cannot be controlled with the wii u game pad"

When try to install the homebrew channel on my Wii U with Wuphax i got the weirdest error.

Has anyone ever seen this before? And how do you fix it?

That’s totally normal. . . . . . .you can control vwii games only with the gamepad if they were patched

That's not the weirdest error, that's pretty normal. vWii can't be used with the gamepad

I just got a Wii U yesterday. I understand now that you need a Wii controller for this. I wish I knew that before, it would have saved me so much time.
