Hacking WUP installer - Mod Y, installing updates from Wii U USB Helper

When we already have an update installed for any wiiu game, to install a knew update that we downloaded from "wiiu usb helper" through "WUP installer - Mod Y", we have to, first, uninstall the old one in the management settings in the wiiu menu, or we can just install above that old one, and the application will replace the files automatically?

You just install the new update over the old one.
