I am like WTF cus I totally installed the drivers.

generic host 32,is a total bastard,I am shure that even microsoft doesnt know how to fix it..I tryed probably all things found online and nothing helped permanently, but after a while it was done.. you can reinstall windows, apply all drivers, put sp 3 and then go online first time, every time I got conected before instaling everything it came back,or there is a small possibility that only instaling zonealarm will help you, when ZA asks you if youll let generic host 32 out.. click deny,it helped to me,but ZA is also totaly usseles on pc that has wifi access point..cause it blocks wifi or slows it down hard ...

good luck!

. My best recommendation is to reinstall the operating system. but while your doing that I would recommend that you try ubuntu linux or linux mint 7 as It is far less likely to have them kinds of errors.

How about you just leave it alone for a day or two; your computer is making you its bitch. Hey it did to me before >.>

Do a repair install or reinstall your Service pack. Also note that some malware can cause similar issues to what you described.

Upgrade to Windows 7, XP is old. Yours is certainly looking shitty there.

It looks like he is running Windows 2000 unless he is running XP with all of the nice GUI disabled or something lol.
