Hacking Would Xkey stop working if I update my X360?

So I have a X360 slim with Xkey, I haven't used it for a long while (maybe 2 years or more). You can see the dashboard and what the version I have here https://imgur.com/a/3do9rNO

Was curious if I should just update it, or if I need dismantle the xbox and get a file from the dvd drive (remember doing it once, but don't remember how).

Any help would be appreciated.

You can update without any problems.
Just update your Xkey to the latest firmware first to be safe.

Xkey hasn't been updated in years neither.
It could be that you're on the latest update but to be sure, just update it again.
Can't hurt.

Yeah, seein the last update, I think I have it, but as you say, better play it safe.

Be sure to patch your games with ABGX.
ABGX has recently received a settings update.
Just make sure you place the updated settings in on top of the stealthfiles folder as explained in the link in the tutorial.
It should be smooth sailing from there on.

Disregard my last post, my 360 is back in business again after firmware update and if anyone is interested.

do they still update xkey to keep up with firmware updates on the 360? does the 360 still get updates? i only ask because i havent had to update my xbox or xkey in years.

Xkey hasn't received updates in a long time and the 360 rarely gets updates neither.
As long as you're on the latest Xkey FW, you got nothing to worry about.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume MS doesn't care anymore.
Still, always patch your backups.

my xkey dosnt work anymore, i put a usb on the xkey and they show read the usb with red led on pendrive, but when i open the disc on xbox they doesnt close automatic. What can i do?
