hey i was thinking if swapping the mother board of my 3ds to a another board with 4.5. would that give me 4.5??

If you put the motherboard of a 4.5 3ds in the shell of your 3ds then yes it would be 4.5. That is basically just a shell swap.

gonna buy a motherboard off ebay and just swap it

It will work...as long as you have the skills to do the swap.

honestly it isn't that hard (in the means of , you don't have to solder). the hardest part is the screen ribbon in the right shoulder.
