Hacking would cios16 boot the wii backup disc?

anybody without a modchip ever tried booting the wii backup disc with a cios of ios16?

i was thinking of giving it a try, but i don't even know how to create the cios16...

Hm, not sure about a cIOS16, but I can say that the backup disc works with the USB loader. Just tried it.

I'd be interested in trying a cIOS16 & dvd of it myself if someone could make a cIOS16...

tried making a cios16 by replacing the 01.app from another cios with the 01.app of ios16, but that leaves me with a ios of only a few bites as ios16 only has 00.app and 01.app :s

conclusion: it didn't work...
