Hacking would a savegame overflow exploit be possible on xbox 360?

I dunno. the 360 is pretty tight security wise. I don't think anyone cares anymore though. we have a full exploit.

Doubt it.
We've had one software exploit in the entire life of the 360.

Edit: that required a flashed DVD drive :')

A savegame exploit is most likely possible but in practice it is useless without a hypervisor exploit. We have only ever had one, it was used with the King Kong exploit which is what Dinoh was referring to above, and it was also reused with the JTAG hack. If another hypervisor bug is found it will probably be used in conjunction with a web browser exploit. I remember seeing someone who was messing around with the 360's version of internet explorer and was able to make the console reboot.

tbh, I kinda wish more exploits were like this: requiring you to open the system. it might shut the "hackers are lazy, because I can't hack my system" people. I've seen a lot of that in the ps4 scene. good luck finding anyone willing to do anything in the ps5 scene.

i don't really wanna open my box, also idk how to solder. i heard rgh is a pain in the booty
