I don't know what to say then. Only thing I could think is maybe it's the sd card that's the issue, but you said you tried 3 others with the same results. Unless all of them are the same brand.

they're all different brand. and i tried each of them with files from my original SD with BootMii. no matter what i try with these cards, BootMii will run fine in each of them, just not cBoot2.

try downloading the newest hackmii installer and try using bootmii to load the mini dol to load the installer the file is called bootmini.elf hope this helps I don't have a boot2 bootmii installation mine is ios, so i'm just throwing out a suggestion.

and B.L.I.N.D looks like it may be of help if you can get it too boot that is, it forces your console to boot in NTSC video display just incase you set it to pal

BLIND Looks to be a modified any region changer.

cboot2 you can choose any app you want to run i believe.

icebrg5 if you scroll through the topic for BLIND joostinonline even says it's source code is taken from several pieces of homebrew to make a brick fixer and i'm pretty sure if joostinonline was asked he'd be able to make versions that autoboot to other display modes for an all-around wii brick repair software

I was just looking at the link that pwsincd posted and from looking at the directions for it from that link it only mentioned any region changer.

I actually just tried out BLIND 2.0 myself and you are right. There are a lot more options there then just any region changer. There is a wad manager, app manager, ios manager and the list goes on and on. So it does seem like that it the OP can get it to boot then he might be able to fix his issues.

Also i noticed when booting BLIND 2.0 from bootmii as boot2 it will not sync a controller so you will have to use a gamecube controller.

Also when booting it i got the invalid format message from my tv for a few seconds then it went to a black screen with . . . in the upper left hand corner.
After it did that for a few seconds it booted BLIND 2.0

Also from the link that pwsincd posted about BLIND.From that webpage it gives the link to download the program but the files have been deleted from the host.
I found a working link from googling B.L.I.N.D V2.0 and a working link was found from the first result.

If you can't find it just message me and I'll link you to it.

actually if you go to page 6 of the post there is a media fire link or you could message joostinonline to reupload it but I would assume booting it under bootmii as boot2 would need a gc controller considering it's either a GC controller or the wii operation buttions, If anything joostinonline should take some of the code from uneek2oDI for the bluetooth adapter so controllers sync up

i downloaded the last HackMii Installer (v.1.2) from here: http://bootmii.org/download/

i extracted the contents to an SD card that can start BootMii. so far so good, BootMii came up. i chose the SD card option, then selected the "bootmini.elf" file. and here's what happened next:

this is a little bit further than i've gotten before with trying to open a file. i used to get a "failed to launch file" message.

try loading the file again but letting it sit there for a bit maybe 10 minutes at the most if that doesn't work try the boot.dol file it might work if not find a way to install either ios58 or 60 the one that introduced USB 2.0 I can't remember, but if you happen to have a backup of your nand somewhere most people with bootmii as boot2 have a clean one for reflashing you should just reflash your nand using bootmii thats what it was built for

well think about this letterbomb runs those same files by installing the bootmii ios then installing the sd card files then you can remove the homebrew channel don't worry you have boot2 bootmii v1.2 now, then your wii will restart or might not but either way install the homebrew channel again and you should be able to at least get some apps opened up from here.

This will also update the homebrew channel so when reinstall your system menu if you use 4.2 don't forget to run the ios58 installer homebrew app or 60 one of those two ios' that the updated homebrew channel uses also think about installing an updated version of priiloader, I use a beta mod that uses the classic sd:/hacks.ini system menu hacks and a hidden system menu channel that forwards the disc channel to neogamma

when i got that screen i did let it sit for a good while. i'm not sure how long, but at least 5-8 minutes.

i'll try the other methods tonight.

i created an account to that website and downloaded the link for members. but alas, no good again. :(

to make sure i was copying the files correctly, i made an exact copy of my old SD card to a new SD card. i put this into the Wii to make sure BootMii comes up. and it did.

so then i put B.L.I.N.D. onto the new SD card and tried to follow the instructions for "BootMii as boot2", but nothing happened.

then i tried to follow instructions for "Priiloader+BootMii as IOS" since it required the same download files and the same SD card structure. and nothing happened here either.

i went back to my working SD card with BootMii v1.1, but this time, i extracted everything except the "bootmii" folder from the B.L.I.N.D. zip file.

selected the third option (SD card icon), and then scrolled through the list of files for "boot.dol" on the root of the card.
and i got this message."Failed to boot selected file!"

am i doing that right?

Sent you a link to download the needed bootmii files. I tried this out on my own wii with boot2 installed and it works.

Once you get into bootmii go to the sd card icon and then scroll down to bootmini.elf and run that.

On my wii it even showed the green screen like you posted but waiting for about 5 seconds after that happened that hackmii installer screen came up.
Once it comes up you can sync a normal wii remote (it may take a few trys) and then a message will come up at the bottom to press the 1 button.

After that you are shown the install screens where you can install bootmii as boot2 if possible and install the homebrew channel.

If you can make it that far and get the latest HBC channel installed then we can move on from there.

Also the hackmii installer will create a log file on your sd card when it's done.
Post that here if possible as it shows a lot of information about your wii that might help.
