I sure hope some site will sell it bundled with a chip already soldered/plugged to it!
That would be an amazing idea. I just hope those places wouldn't charge too much more than what it would cost to buy them separately and do it yourself.

Lol...... its 25€ or 36,7$ i mean thats a insane price.

Its only a peice of platic, wires and a socket nothing more.

The China guys could make this for the price off 4$ each.

one time $36.7 vs $15 for a knockoff that'll fall off or shift and short your wii. it's not something we haven't seen happen in the past with other consoles. in the end, that $15 turns into $250 + $15 + tax

Price seems pretty decent to me compared to other modchip products. The other popular commercial modchips are also made of cheap and simple components. But the entire products costs a lot more than the sum of all cheap parts.

Sure, it costs $37 (estimated) but the Wlip still sells me on a modchip. I seriously don't know squat about soldering and I'm not about to try it. So Wlip it is! Also, thanks to paul1991's advice, I've got 9 free PICs on their way here and I'm going to get a programmer from eBay to get the modchip firmware on them. So $37 for an easily modded Wii. I'll take it!

And actually, I'm not even going to pay for the Wlip. I'll be custom ordering it from GamingLagoon for free!

What chip will you guys use with the Wlip? The Wiinja seem like the best choice for those who want something easy to use, but I can't find a place that sell it in Canada, or even United States...

Well, since I'm getting the PICs for free, I'm going to try YAOSM, OpenWii and FreeWii and see how they all work out. YAOSM sounds like the best bet for me, I think.
