Hardware Wireless HDMI Signal Possible?

I hate dealing with cables, and sometimes I would like to use a HDMI signal between to devices which are many feet apart, is there a reliable wireless HDMI solution out there

(for the record ask gbatemp is a place to ask questions regardless of other sources (google, etc.) I'm trying to contribute to the system.)

Philips BDP7580 is the FIRST Blu-Ray Player with built in HDMI wireless (announced in CES this year).

Also the Philips SWW1800/27 Wireless HDTV Link boasts wireless HDMI/Component output.

There's also HP's Wireless TV Connect which is basically a wireless HDMI, but it requires USB power on one end and likely AC power on the other.

There's actually no such thing as wireless HDMI. Several companies are developing wireless HD solutions. I wouldn't recommend this route unless you have a situation that makes running cables impossible.

You can trust me on this - I am a home automator/theatre installer.

The wireless solutions are also currently very expensive.
