2 Succesfull downgrades to report:

10.3 J N3DS.
10.3 U N3DS.

they both froze at the rebooting screen but both of them are safe happy downgrades after the force shutdown :D
Does RxTools work on them? Some people say they cannot get emunand to launch after downgrade.

Alright sweet, this time around it was smooth. All of my digital games are running with their game saves. :D

For me its freeze all the time.

Keep trying, I was bored to death and thought it wasn't going to work for me when it finally did... I was even caught by surprise when it worked since I was getting used to the BOOT HBL > SYSUP > FREEZE > REBOOT loop lol

Took a LOT of tries, once it booted properly everything was smooth as butter.

For me its freeze all the time.
Test this since it was from a tutorial I used.

1) Boot your 3DS with Menuhax (Directly, not browserhax then Menuhax)
2) Launch ftBRONY and close it right away
3) Run which ever sysupdater you have (In this case choose SafeSysUpdater)
4) Wait until it's done.

edit: Perfect downgrade :) Before with sysudapter i downgraded but eshop acces failed.

-how many before boot on app:12

-how many before downgrade perfectly :) :4

Succesful downgrade on my friend's O3DS 10.3->9.2 using SafeSysUpdater. Worked first time opening the app (took me 50+ times when I downgraded mine...)

can someone please help me.

i followed all the directions, but i cannot see the sysupdater when i boot the homebrew launcher.

on the previous tutorials, there were 2 files to be placed inside /3ds/sysUpdater/ but using this safer version i only have this inside SafeSysUpdater.3dsx

could that be the reason why i cannot see it on the homebrew channel menu? please help

UPDATE: the homebrew channel also freezes when you browse it for some time, is that normal?

I think the "SafeSysUpdater.3dsx" should be inside the folder which has the exact filename of the .3dsx too, which is "SafeSysUpdater"

So it should be like this:

root:3ds/SafeSysUpdater/SafeSysUpdater.3dsx

And as for the homebrew launcher freezing, sometimes it does that with my 3ds too.

thanks, i was able to get past that, i now get FAIL error on around the 5th cia, is that normal? should i just try again?

is it also normal that the safesysUpdater does not have an icon (question mark only)?

If you got a "FAIL" on the update cia's, then I believe you downloaded a corrupted firmware cia's. From where did you get your Update Cias if you dont mind me asking? I didn't use this Safesysupdater so I can't help you with that icon thingy.

i got it from a mega link in <snip>, should i redownload from another source and try again? link says: 9.2.0-20U (Full)

Better remove the link you provided, It's against forum rules. Did you get the firmware as stated below?:

CIA STUFF:
Need some firmware CIAs and can't find them? Never fear. Even though I can't directly link them here, I can tell you that if you Goodle (including the quotation marks) "[MEGA] [CIA/BIN] MSET 4.X & 6.X backups, Browser backups, Update packs (All Regions)" you may just find what you're looking for. ;)
You can verify that you've gotten the right .zip file and that everything is okay by comparing the file's MD5 and SHA-1 hashes (generated on this great site) to this handy chart below.

Yeah, and try to copy it again as stated above.

Eur O3DS, 9.9.0-26E.
more than 50x try with menuhax : red pixels on top screen and freeze
first try with ironhax: successful downgrade.
the device automatically rebooted and bingo ! 9.2.0 !
I then used Browserhax to reinstall themehax and everything is ok !

Thank you very much "cpasjuste" !
