Nope. Reformatting removes access to files, even if on a different SD card.

But, if you downgrade, you can just reinstall all the stuff in emunand.

Has anyone bricked on a n3DS with this tool?
If not ima do it.
(I have the parts for a nand mod on the way, but if there are no reported bricks, its not needed.)

Inside the Nintendo 3ds carpet there is one with a big name inside that one there is a similar one and inside that one there are 3 or 4 carpets, one of this carpets is the one you want to save (the bigger one).
One you format your SD and inserted in the 3ds so the new carpets can be created, put the carpet you backed up in his place.

That is what I did and it worked

Mine worked straight away, No problems at all by installing browserhax or custom firmware etc, once downgraded. Once it downgraded i still had to turn it off when it said wait 10 seconds to reboot

this is more stable than regular sysupdate?
and it has recovery mode like the previous?

Alot more stable than the previous builds this one is, and not sure about its own recovery.. I'm a noob to the 3ds scene but things turned out ok for me on my n3ds

btw guys if you set up Safesysupdater to autoboot you will increase your chance of it working that's what i did

if you want it, I used to degrade less stable sysupdate and am now i am on 10.3 without any proble

Nop, I did it because it happened to me

You see funny story, when I bought a new SD card it was giving me trouble but I eventually got it to work. I'm hoping I can just have a smooth transition this time but I forgot what I did. I know it works but my past experience was a pain in the ass which is why I said RIP xD
