--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I have MenuHax in AutoBoot on SafeSysUpdater (boot.3dsx) xD

Does the n3ds xl realoy need to be on 10.3? Is it okay if it is on a lower firmware but on 9.3 or a bit more?

I'm not sure. The fact is i didn't see any (soft) brick yet from people coming from 10.3, but i personally had one from 9.5. I would encourage you to update before ..

Yes, the problem I had was ver. 07, I just used the recent ver. 08 and I'm successfully in 9.1.0-20J

Thank you very much for your hard work on this SysUpdater.

Now to set up an emuNand, I heard it is somewhat difficult, but let's see if its more complicated than an O3DS on 4.5

EDIT: Should I worry that my 3DS was downgraded to 9.1 instead of 9.2?

Has anyone of you downgraded successfully without formatting your 3ds and sd card?

I'm wondering this too, is there any real need to format the 3DS console? I guess the SD card could interfere in some way due to fragmentation, but the nand?

I don't really wanna format my 3ds, I may attempt downgrade this afternoon while 10.3 is still up (but there seems to be no softbricks yet with this)

EDIT: also, there's no incomplete downgrade yet either right?

Seems like the circulating 9.2 JAP zip pack is in fact the 9.1 files. You are going to use emunand anyways (I pressume).

Does anyone know a good guide to follow and install the CFW? I have found many tutorial and I don't know which one is the best.

Thanks

no need to format the 3ds, because I just did a downgrad on an o3ds from 10.3 to 9.2, and it worked fine (after several sysupdater launch)...

No, I used another SysUpdater (I used this from cpasjuste just for check all MD5 and other stuffs).
I launched FTP-3DS, closed, then SysUpdater... and like magic, first boot, and success :)
