Warning: if you are an angry dev trying to pick up a fight, skip this message.

I just want to thank you all for your effort! I don't care if there will be warez on this or that. The truth is, you all rock!
I'm a poor guy, and I'm still pretty happy with the 4.x CFW. Man! My kids will spend the whole year trying to finish those games! I don't even care if they spend more time trying to boot it then playing. They are happy! I mean, they can't play Heropants, but luckly there will be a 7.x version by christmas... (#WishList).
My point is... let's all put our differences behind, get together and have a drink! (unless you're underage, of course)
Thanks!

OSKA forked bootstrap of KARL3DS when they don't have license. But current OSKA has GPLv3 license and current KARL has BSD license. The fact can confuse.
And OSKA bootstrap won't work yet.
I suggest to stop the development of OSKA bootstrap and use KARL bootstrap to avoid confusing.
Whichever makes development more efficient imo. Very little reason to recreate what already exists and can be used. And keeping all the licensing in line is a nice plus.

Like or opinion.

EDIT: I stopped OSKA bootstrap development and started KARL bootstrap development.

Aliak liked this post, so OSKA bootstrap development is stopped.

As long as a firmlaunchax method with 100% of success rate comes out, i'll be happy

IIRC, KARL has firmlaunchax booting ~90% of the time. I could be mistaken, though. In any case, it's definitely possible with the right amount of time and effort. Either open sourcing the cfw side of rxTools, or at least sharing it with a trusted dev might speed up the development process.

soooooo development on OSKA has stopped, or just the parts that are already open source on KARL?

also how can there be a licence issue for open source software, that defeats the point of open source in the first place.
