Hey, GBAtemp!
I'm trying to make a really simple web browser for *hax 2.5 to make the downloading of files off of the interwebz easier.

Just to be clear, don't go expecting Google Chrome or anything. This won't even have JavaScript or image viewing or anything for a long time yet, if ever. But it will allow you to view web pages and download files to your SD.

Here's a screenshot of the very humble beginnings:

Hey, GBAtemp!
I'm trying to make a really simple web browser for *hax 2.5 to make the downloading of files off of the interwebz easier so you don't have to do anything involving (micro)SD cards, Rainbow Dash-themed FTP clients or slow SMB file transfer (microSD Management for New 3DS) to download that TXT file you had your heart set on downloading. :P

What this WILL be:
Able to download files
Able to view basic HTML pages (ie, IsMyComputerOn)

What this WON'T be:
A homebrew eShop or anything like that (though you should be able to download 3DSX files and the like off websites)
A fancy-shmancy web browser like the quite-awesome one that comes with the New 3DS. (Nintendo did quite good there - typing this with it now)

Screenshots and a preview release will come when it's in a usable state.

This will be open source from the first preview release.
You should name it Bobcat Browser :3
I could make a neat little icon for it

So much debate over the name. XD
It's gotta be some name that most likely has nothing to do with the actual functionality of the browser, or something just as simple like "Homebrew Browser"...
I got no ideas for this one. XD
