Just to know, why there is not a community on google+?
It would be easier to deal about comments, idea and stuff then gbatemp, also easier to manage whiner&co

I find it interesting that the only group who have consistently attacked the other group with insults are the people defending the project (although a few of you have contacted me via PM and we have had invigorating discussions, I thank you for being civil). While I disagree with what they do, I don't stoop low enough to insult them for having an opinion nor do I categorize an entire group of people because of the actions of a few (unlike a few of the commentators here).

You're the one that replies to EVERYTHING people say. It kinda sounds like your the one who wants to "win" the argument because if you really didn't you just wouldn't reply lol

honestly you really dont see another reason why i would reply to those?? wow i'm pretty sure its obvious to most people! come on use your thinking..
i'm just trying to make this thread a bit more clear about the real subject, by redirecting people who talks about piracy there since this thread derailed all the time.. i dont see how it can be seen as i want to 'win' , when my intentions are pretty clear lol

I think a blog of some kind is better. The developers posts are most important. All comments like 'yeah you rock!' or like 'you suck, we want piracy' is not so important imo :)

And yet you have given your opinion on piracy numerous times in this thread

Don't even really need that, just direct link any important posts in the OP

i made my points clear when people asked but i never started a discussion about pirating, there'S a difference between giving an opinion to someone and flame about it..ahh anyway there's always both side of the medal here so this discussion would never end..inbox-me if you have something else to say, keep this thread clean please.

Okay so the cfw won't support piracy natively, I respect that, but the question is will I still be able to use my gateway to do CIA installations? I own a physical copy of any CIA I've installed and I just want to be able to get the save off of the cart and into the CIA and also make my own CIAs so i don't have to rely on piracy, although I guess it's not so much piracy if I own the game already, but I digress, I have major OCD and I like to have icons of all my carts on the home screen, so will it still be possible to use the cfw along with my gateway?

Why not get a NAND dump while I'm here. :P

i'm about to hardmod my N3DS to dump my nand.. would be great to know how you did it before i crack-open my 3ds :P
We have ARM9, so we can grab full NAND dumps at this point. We will probably end up making a menu interface similar to how GW has one in order to dump NAND and create emuNAND partitions. Since most people already have an MT/GW emuNAND we'll probably stick to that format vs redNANDs.

But it will also be possible to create one without having a flashcart? Since I dont want to buy one just for regionfree^^

ofc, you dont need the gateway card to even create the emunand, but i assume they will make all their own tools....plus it would probably have to be reworked a bit to accommodate the n3ds nand sizes
