Lol, just booted up my Win 7 install to make sure, but yeah that's set, and to check daily. Same option but the one I came up with was the install one. And there's updates to get and it's not installing them itself. I guess "Install updates and Shutdown" is as far as it actually goes then? Doesn't do it in the background while your doing shit?
 
Not sure who was saying Windows Updates are buggy, maybe if you have a bogus hacked up version of windows.

One of our computer labs are set up with windows steady state which builds a cache of current settings and everytime the computer is booted up, it refers back to this cached settings and windows update still works through that (but of course windows steady state is made by MS and it wouldn't be hard to allow for exceptions for their own updates). This may be an exploit ready to happen, is it possible to spoof something as a windows update to bypass window steady state write filter features? Maybe a valid signature?
