I will have to order another USB-C cable that is short which I was going to do anyway. Then will try again. Any you guys suggest?Ok guy, remove the driver you tried to install in device manger.
Download and run tegragui
Then install the driver within tegra gui,
then plug in the switch after you rcm it.. (So your screen is black after holding power and volume up ? Indicates rcm mode)
Use short usbc cables, for a better data connection ..( And to avoid errors like you mention),
Try another usbc cable
Also make sure your unit isnt patched, > Click me
as a patched unit wont accept payloads but you should still be able to send them.
don't go cheap, keep it at least above 4-5 bucksI will have to order another USB-C cable that is short which I was going to do anyway. Then will try again. Any you guys suggest?

Well, RCM is an intended feature, it just happened to have a fatal security flaw.Patched has nothing to do with RCM. In fact, you can't patch out RCM (as far as I know). What can be patched out is accepting payloads. The reason we know patched units exist is because we can successfully fail at sending payloads to them, not successfully fail at entering RCM. RCM is an extremely user-dependent process that can only be mitigated with a high quality jig.
Welp I got a new cable and that still hasn't helped at all. Still able to boot into RCM and I even ordered a jig to make sure that I wasn't doing something wrong there. If anyone could screen share with me or something and show me if I am doing something wrong or what that'd help me a lot.
Edit: Whenever I try to install driver on TegraRCM it is not graying out the install driver at all. I am able to do it over and over and over again and it won't grey out at all.
Try using another cable or USB port.Any solutions to the issues
