Ok guy, remove the driver you tried to install in device manger.

Download and run tegragui
Then install the driver within tegra gui,
then plug in the switch after you rcm it.. (So your screen is black after holding power and volume up ? Indicates rcm mode)

Use short usbc cables, for a better data connection ..( And to avoid errors like you mention),
Try another usbc cable

Also make sure your unit isnt patched, > Click me
as a patched unit wont accept payloads but you should still be able to send them.

I will have to order another USB-C cable that is short which I was going to do anyway. Then will try again. Any you guys suggest?

Patched has nothing to do with RCM. In fact, you can't patch out RCM (as far as I know). What can be patched out is accepting payloads. The reason we know patched units exist is because we can successfully fail at sending payloads to them, not successfully fail at entering RCM. RCM is an extremely user-dependent process that can only be mitigated with a high quality jig.
Well, RCM is an intended feature, it just happened to have a fatal security flaw.

Welp I got a new cable and that still hasn't helped at all. Still able to boot into RCM and I even ordered a jig to make sure that I wasn't doing something wrong there. If anyone could screen share with me or something and show me if I am doing something wrong or what that'd help me a lot.

Edit: Whenever I try to install driver on TegraRCM it is not graying out the install driver at all. I am able to do it over and over and over again and it won't grey out at all.

I'm Having the same issue. I was using NXloader from my cellphone without problems.

But i had to connect my NSW in my pc usb port and bam, unknown device. Went back to connect nsw to cellphone, not working anymore
changed 3 different cables, and nothing. Changed computer, and i could install Usb drivers, and TegraRCM was ok, my pc recognized TWICE, but i couldn't inject payloads, or enter sdcard browsing mode.

As of now i can't connect to pc anymore, I'm pretty sure my usb fucked up...

Is there any way i can push the payload now ?

i give up, the port connects says injection ok but nothing happens. if i try to use the UMS tool it hangs the app. Is it possible maybe to change the usb port on the switch?

I was never able to get a USB-C to USB-C cable to work when injecting my payloads, I had to use a USB-A to USB-C payload, but that could just be my computers configuration. Is it possible to try a different PC?

Any solutions to the issues
