Windows 7 upgrade version question.

Now windows 7's price is announced, the upgrade version is extremely cheap. I have a pirated windows vista, does that mean I can not use the upgrade version?

It probably checks for a legit version so no. Why not pirate windows 7 f you already pirated vista?

It should work once windows thinks it is activated. There is no way to be fully sure until the upgrade version is released.

On another note, Windows 7 will also allows upgrades from Windows 2000 up, meaning XP is covered also.
