Heh, with my rig I take 35seconds from the second I push the power on button on it. Though I am using Rainmeter hard and have a lot of startup apps by now.i just had a "old" GA-H77-DS3H, no big deal, no high end or whatsoever, and a very OLD 60gb SSD + my 4 hard drive, so... with my old 60gb and my 70€ old motherboard i outruned their Z97 and cruxial MX200 1TB ? wtf x).
I also saw people with very high end motherboard with win10 and all quick start activated options booting in less than 2sec and i think its lower than that because the screen taken more time to start than the PC...
Still with that being said, I hardly do a shutdown, unless I want to boot into my ESXi SSD and mess around with ESXi and my VMs on that.
Anyways back on topic, I think Windows 10 over Windows 8.1. Fresh install of course.
I've never liked the look of Windows 7 or Vista, hated the whole aero thing look, always ran it in the ugly classic mode. Feel like Windows 10 has a better design when it comes to that.
