Windows 10 takes forever to boot

Bumping the thread to say that the problem got fixed by itself, as in, I did nothing!

Rebooted today after an update, and bam! less than a minute to boot

Case solved, I guess.

I'd still get a new hard drive and clone the original to the new one and keep the new one somewhere safe in the event of a hard drive failure

I plan to do that eventually

But as of now, it's fine, so, considering I have a backup of all my files on multiple dvds, I'm fine for a little while
