Hacking Will this work? R4i pocket with D's&dsi

I tried with what was on the card when we got it ( used ) on a DSi&DS lite. It had about 15 games&saves that I saved on my computer as backup.

All 3 consoles get a blank tile when selecting the game, then black error screen.
I also tried downloading r4 wood for clones and moonshell2.10 onto a blank card, same thing.

The DSi says it's running 1.4.5U couldn't find a version on the DS lites.

Will this ever work or and I wasting my time.

Used, the r4i pocket came as part of a lot of 3 DS lite & 1 DSi with about 20 games for 125$ we bought it locally

and does it currently run on any of the systems? did it before you tried other firmwares? also do you have a backup of the original you could send a screenshot of?

Same black screen on everything, before and after trying different files

Those are all the files that don't look like games

You might just have a broken flashcart tbh atleast but I'd try backing up the sd card formatting to to fat 32 32kb cluster size then restoring the files. Be careful when swapping around firware versions as some such as ysmenu can brick certain cards
edit: I'd also go online and reinstall the latest version for your card after the format also I'm not sure if this matters but the roms and such might need to go to a different folder. Might be causing trouble with the paths it goes to read if an essential file is in the wrong place

i formatted the card before trying the new files, i will format and put the origional stuff back on and try again and let you know in a few

will it be somthing i do once i get it wokfing, or somehing i load onto the memory card?

just formatted and re loaded the original, the dsi gets the black screen, one ds doesn't recognize the card as inserted, the other turns on with a white screen and stays there, cant find the 3rd ds to test

i formated the card to exfat then unzipped that straight to the card. do ineed to put anything else on it before trying it in the console?

Are you sure that's the correct format for the sd card? if it's a larger one to format to fat32 you'll need a special program. Ease us partition master can format pretty much and card to what you want and is free so I'd try that if that's the problem. Formatting can really matter for stuff like this

exFAT will not work with carts, reformat it as FAT32 instead.

The card probably won't work with 1.4.5.
You can use YSMenu (http://gbatemp.net/threads/retrogamefan-updates-releases.267243/) for compatibility with the latest games.
