Apparently the Xbox 360 S that I bought from cowboom ended up being on a two year contract and the previous owner ceased to pay so now I can't even play offline games. Already bought another console but was thinking of later restoring at least single-player functionality by flashing the NAND of a different console.
What I'm wondering is if I could use the NAND of the replacement xbox while refraining to go online? I could open and remove the wireless module to discourage but what will happen if both consoles with the same NAND go online at the same time? If not to be safe I could purchase another console with a broken DVD drive.
