Will a Firmware Update Reinstall Deleted Stock Apps?

So I learned that the Hide Stock Apps tool (Standalone and CustomLiveArea's) creates a ticking time bomb. When you create a folder and lose Russian Roulette (maybe after creating say your 256th folder total), a hidden app appears, out of alignment. Then your Vita freezes each time you open that folder, rendering it undeletable. All you can do is rebuild your database. Anyway, I deleted a few stocks apps manually. The System Apps Disabler tool can also do this (and restore its backups). I also noticed certain vs0: apps have no bubbles, maybe even bypassing app.db (param.sfo LAREA_TYPE 0x3?). Would be safer. Guessing System Restore can't restore what's no longer in vs0:, unless it pulls from ud0: if present. Surely firmware files have them? In case one deleted their web browser (Your PSTV won't explode if you do) and could no longer Jailbreak after System Restore. Just Curious.

That's the theory. I don't know how to browse the update files. But actually, System App Disabler does delete the files. For restoration, it comes with copies of the apps (about at blatant as including bios). It never backs up what you delete. And there could be a point where it restores an outdated and incompatible version if we ever did get a new firmware.

I just stuck all my unwanted apps in a folder and ignore it. Also, who needs 255 folders?! Might be better to restructure once you hit 100 and nest them instead. (unless nested folders also count towards the 255 hard-limit...)

And if you have too many games, back up the save data and delete the ones you don't need at the time (or move them to a backup device via QMCA on PC or similar method), then download them again via pkgj/nps or move them back.

Update: Short Story: Firmware updates do reinstall deleted stock apps, including the browser and the beloved 'Featured' PSTV app. But bad news: It'll be a long time before I can re-jailbreak my PSTV. I thought the eMMC was failing as everything would hang any time I'd attempt to make a folder. Empty folder would sit there, unopenable. Then open anything and the bubble sits there. Try to shutdown and I get the swirly a'beads, all no matter how many times I wiped the database. So I removed everything from config.txt except Henkaku and YAMT. Result: Unable to navigate home screen even with an official PS3 pad, wired / wireless. Powercycled and then stuck at date / time setup. Safe Mode: Only here did the pad work. Didn't wanna lose my data with Restore, so I popped my 2DS card in (has various console firmwares and bootable recovery tools, etc) into a USB reader and forced a firmware update. Bluetooth worked then and I could make folders. Trophy data is preserved.Now I just need an offline static prebuilt Henkaku solution with payload hardcoded to a local IP to host on my Vita / PS3 / 2DS. May do it myslf by hand as I idon't even have a calculator for base16 math. Fun.
