The brands are
adat Class 6
Transcend Class 6
Kingston Class 4 or 6
Yes.AK2i supports SDHC.
so any brand will work no matter what class it is?
It should,I don't see why not...although if it's fake(the SD),it might not perform as it should,but that's not the AK2i's fault.
Mine is real. 1 more question
does a certain sdhc card have better movie/dpg/fps(frames per second) quality?
The higher the class the faster the speed.
Class 2 is the worst
Class 10 is the best
The higher the class the faster the read/write speed. =)
Class only dictates write speed, not read speed (though in general higher classes will have higher read speed).
A class 4 or 6 is all you need for DS games.
I own a cheap Chinese 32gb micro sd and it works fine on the cart. It just takes forever to save. It is way below the class 2 specs. Read speeds are just fine.
I switched from an 8gig Sandisc microSD to 32 gig, the read/write speeds for saving/loading are a lot slower, like 3-5 seconds more of delay.
