I can't run this game on 4.1U i have the following:

• System 4.1U
• ios53 and 55 (i read the post where says how to run ww vc games with error 002 and nothing changed, see my post there for those who love to read other posts)
• Patched with the method described here http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=159976

If someone could help would be apreciated.

I tried to play it but it said This channel is not used. What does that mean ? I can run Contra Rebirth USA just fine but not this JAP version. HELP ?

EDIT: Freethewads?? Should I use it for this ? Is there a better way I should know about ?

I added the option to the Preloader hacks.ini file to enable regio-free channels, I think that will do the trick.

also having issues. I can't even install the wad, though, it may just be a bad wad, of course. However, as I acquire a new one, can anyone explain this issue

I could not install with cIOS rev 14, had to go back to rev13a (which I planned on doing anyway)

Hmm, haven't installed a WAD for quite a while, got a RegionFriid version of this and I get error-2011 when trying to install. Any ideas?

Works fine here on 4.0u after I used freethewads on it, wouldn't work otherwise.

I am surprise you guys didnt mention one thing.. I just found out why mine cannot run it... Go to starfall and enable REGION FREE CHANNELS and it works perfectly fine.

For some of you.. to have a problem run it and have starfall and 3.2u.. go to starfall and enable REGION FREE CHANNELS and it will work.

Right but I already have IOS 53 and 55 installed so I am not new to it anyway. The starfall give me an answer and it works PERFECTLY FINE. You dont need to patch out of region wads with freethewads at all. I dont like to patch it anyway because I like it to be untouch and original wad files. Just enable region free channels. Thanks to starfall. It works perfectly!

ya, just use preloader or startpatch hacks... i'd much rather do that ONCE than have to patch EVERY SINGLE out of region wad that I would like to install...

I got the same error with "Wad Installer" (the really old "first" version).

So I installed "Wad Manager Gui" and with this new program, I have been able to install the wad without any errors.

Just finished it. Great game! Hopefully we'll see more 2D-classics on WiiWare. Too bad we won't see the new Rocket Knight Adventure on Wii...
