WiiU To Support Only One Controller At Launch

Guess some of you had the ball in the hole.

The Wii U from Nintendo might only support one controller per console at launch, according to Shigeru Miyamoto in an interview with Australian magazine Switched On. While Nintendo is currently researching what to do about "if someone brings their controller to their friends house and they want to play together on Wii U," as Miyamoto put it, the current direction seems to be towards using a Nintendo 3DS as substitution for another Wii U controller.

I knew it was only going to be one controller per console!

The 3DS idea sounds great. Only thing is that it has less buttons.
