Happened with me too. I put Gran Turismo 3 instead of Gran Turismo and somone replied that it was a PS2 game.

Since I don't think I've noticed it mentioned here ccd .img files work as well. I just load the .img directly, some I downloaded most I ripped with alcohol 120% using the playstation setting ripping them to a ccd image file. Ive had no games not at least boot or code dump with plenty working fine this was also mentioned in the comments on emulatemii I believe. Anyways not making any promises it will work for you but I've personally had no issues using .img files.

Metal Gear Solid seems to be working ok. I'm not going to try to play it all the way through but so far so good.

It also made me notice that to press R2 and L2 you have to hold Z and press the R button or the L button. Same with select. To press select you have to press Z and Start at the same time.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 is up next.

Just tried Persona.
It works pretty much 100%, bar the obvious sound issues that most games have.
I'm going to try Jade Cocoon next.

EDIT: for the love of god! don't try Um Jammer Lammy. Ingame sounds are demonic.

Next I'm going to try Rival Schools (Evolution Disc).

EDIT: I've noticed that IMG files work quite nicely with the emulator too.

Yes Get a Cross Air Aim With D-Pad, Rise and Kneel with B and shoot with A (at least with the gamecube controller)

if you want to exit the emulator without shutting down your wii just hit the reset button if you launch it from the HBC

Added Time Crisis and tried Tenchu. Here's the results for Tenchu 1:

Gameplay runs at 50-60 FPS, background music is glitchy, no voice acting.

Xenogears is working. Anywhere from 40 to over 100 FPS, averages around 60 FPS in town and in the 50s in battle.
