Hacking Wiigator Wierd Problem

I have NTSC-U wii with 3.4 firmware. Installed neccesry cIOS and Wiigator v0.3 backuploader. Patched backup is Castlevania Judgement (working.) When i start up the loader the wii freezes at the launching screen. Note: i have a wiikey 2 installed but it was a faulty chip (contacts fell off.)I believe this may have something to do with it but just checking. I intend on removing it. Any other advice?

I use the beta patcher made by that waninko or whatever his name is.

!. dont patch the backup
2. Install cIOS 7
3. Use the gamma loader.

Did you get your files from instructables or from a pirate torrent site ? I noticed a few very old files going around there recently with really old and incorrect instructions.

The beta loader i wrote the guide for originally was posted up there :s why do people do that ? I even have the date on it ffs - its old and out of date !

Anyway - try newer files and it should help if you got them from the above sites.

I got the files from a wii modding site, same versions i think but ill replace with the newer ones if there are any.

Figured out the problem. My wiikey disabled the laser so I'm gonna have to take it apart and remove the chip. It should work after that.
