Neat trick using flat images of screen shot and game box image instead of full size covers. Must of took you a lot of work.
thank sir
the truth is very easy download all the images ready and with the same name with the skraper program then the extension is added to all with fuzzy rename thanks for commenting and for your great work with wiiflow lite

finally had a chance today to test out v5.5.0 and 5.5.1 on my wii u and both versions worked without issues. loaded wii games, emunand games, gc games, and plugins. even loaded wii games on SD card. the only thing i didn't try was a clean install

with the wii u laying flat my portable USB HDD is connected to the 2 back usb ports via Y cable with the main (fatter one) in the top port and (thin one) in the bottom port. i disconnected my wii u usb hdd. kept my wii u gamepad connected in a front usb port. my usb hdd is not stealth'd and only 1gb. Edit: 1TB

I run wiiflow off of SD. with wii and gc games on USB.

i have d2x vwii v10 beta 52 base 56, 57, and 58 installed in slots 249, 250, and 251. all work fine, even ran wiiflow with force cios off (ios 58 mode). using port 0.

Edit: wiiflow defaults to cios 249

I think what I am going to do is use the bin files of the older beta. As long as that shouldn't break anything I can still use the newest version of WiiFlow(I haven't tested that but it makes sense to me based on the testing we did so far)

Your setup Fledge68 is how is similar to my setup, I instead have a 1 TB External not 1GB. The only thing I can't confirm is WiiFlow using iOS 58. I am assuming that's default but I thought WiiFlow uses 249 by default which is base 56?

What that being said, I want to say thank you again to Fledge68, RunningSnake, and the other users who have been trying to help me! I greatly appreciate it.

hen I hit start/home to go to the menu, and then hit start/home again, it sends me back to the system menu. I assume this is the intended behavior, but is there any way to disable it with parental controls?

The way I have my Wii set up, I boot directly into WiiFlow (via Priiloader) and return directly to WiiFlow after finishing a game session. I had hoped that I prevent all access to the system menu with a parental controls passcode, but I just noticed this path to the system menu today. It’s not a huge deal, it’s not trivially easy to launch…but pressing start to get to a menu and then pressing start again to exit that menu is a pretty intuitive action, I feel like anyone who accesses the start menu by accident is likely to end up booting up the system menu.

Just thought I’d point it out; I’ve got a toddler who loves video game controllers and I know one day he’s gonna get into something he shouldn’t… :rofl2:

I wanted to ask if this is normal or it should be like this, because it appears from earlier versions, i.e. when I have wiiflow running and I do not move it for a few minutes, the cursor suddenly flies to the side of the screen and you can not do anything except turn off / reset the console or it can somehow set?

Need help on an issue with WiiFlow starting: Everytime i try to boot up WiiFlow Lite from the homebrew channel, the logo appears for 10 seconds and it sends me back to the homebrew channel. I have tried using WiiFlow Start Configurator, but it only takes a few seconds for it to show me a stack dump. I have WiiFlow Lite 5.5.1.

Well, I've spent the last few days thoroughly testing games, mainly VC N64, NEOGeo and Genesis, but I don't know what to choose the best settings in the options of the selected game, or if any of you can determine which are the best settings for the best results.
1. Video mode section - after using each option I did not notice a difference in playback time? in wiiflow 5.5.1 those things with video settings etc were supposed to be fixed but how does it still not work?
2. Correct video modes and aspect ratio - is there anything to set here?
3. 480p pixel patch and flicker removal filter - is there anything to set?

I followed the ModMii guide and installed Wiiflow today but when you press Play in a game it either goes into infinite loading if the game is on a flashdrive or sends me to the Wii home menu if the game is on SD.

I'll try another usb because the UsbLoaderGx didn't work either.
But I thought that maybe it could be a system error because WiiFlow was not working on the internal sd too

Now, after entering the WiiFlow, it sends me back to the HBC right away

Edit: changed back my cios, switched to another sd and flash drive and now everything is fine! :D

No joy unfortunately - the same issue occurs as with 5.5.0 final and 5.5.1 (WFL animated logo displays for ~10 seconds but it never gets to the white progress bar). Rolled back to 5.5.0 beta 10 and that works fine.

ok - download and install the v5.5.2 beta 2 above. rename your wiiflow_lite.ini to back it up.

download this boot dol zip - https://www.mediafire.com/file/69pbpf6j4ou3bgi/wfl_5.5.2_test_dol.zip/file
and replace the v5.5.2 beta 2 boot.dol

I have a good feeling about this.

edit: OR download and install v.5.5.2 beta 2 above and run it and try to launch a wii game. it should create a new wiiflow_lite.ini. now open wiiflow_lite.ini ina text editor and look under [WII] for save_emulation= and set it 0 and save. rerun wfl and launch a wii game. it should work.

in beta 11 i changed emunand stuff and i for some stupid reason set save emulation global default to 2 which is full emulation. if you don't have a emunand set up for emunand saves then wiiflow crashes on game boot.

for those of us existing users it doesn't affect us. only people doing a clean first install are affected.
